The local mayor, José Espadas Lopez, accompanied by the planning councilor, Juan Romero Canovas and several municipal officers, have visited the site that are running in the town of sewers and storm dam.
These works involve the construction of a rainwater collector Gines Campos Avenue, Street Station and the Barrio de San Pedro, and the construction of a rainwater reservoir of great capacity, approximately 50,000 m3 with a height of 7 meters , which collect rainwater from the eastern part of town, because currently there is no reservoir of rain in that area, going to stop water from rainfall to low station in the regional highway E-10 , where stands a concrete pipe 500 mm diameter located at the same point.
This pipeline has insufficient capacity and there are pools of water at that point every time it rains, having, moreover, that stretch of road cut.
The main objective of these works, which will last approximately 4 months, is to avoid accumulations of water that form on the east side of town, every time it rains, particularly in the Avenues: Ginés Campos, Antonio Fuertes and the Street: Lorenzo Rubio, La Station, Tió Melguizo, Carrascoy, etc.
