The City Council will distribute bracelets to locate the parents of missing children through the Local Police (30/04/2018)

The City Council of Alhama de Murcia, at the initiative of the Local Police, will distribute, for the first time during these holidays, Los Mayos 2018 adhesive bracelets for children, in order to find the parents if the children go astray due to the massive influx of people in the streets.

For this they have a space in which parents can write the child's name and a contact telephone number in case of loss, to be located as soon as possible.

They are very resistant, so they can last several days.

The Local Police Councilor, Felipe García, has pointed out that "the Mayan festivities have always been an example of fun and safety, but we seek greater peace of mind for fathers and mothers, while reducing fear among the youngest if any it goes astray. "

The children's bracelets will be available at the Tourism office from Friday, May 4, and can be collected throughout the weekend while supplies last.

From the Local Police, parents are recommended to transfer some basic instructions to the youngest ones, such as contacting local police officers, Civil Protection volunteers or an adult if they are lost and showing the bracelet.

In addition, they invite to play at home before leaving for the children to answer the question 'What do I do if I get lost?'.

The bracelets include the Local Police badge so that the little ones get to know him and feel protected.
