ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN brings together men and women from all over Spain for the first time in the First National Congress of Household Managers (27/09/2018)

ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN welcomes today and tomorrow, at its facilities in Alhama de Murcia, the First National Congress of Household Managers to analyze, among other issues, the need for healthy eating, guidelines for family welfare, the keys to responsible consumption , as well as the new existing lifestyles and their demands.

Managing home economics is not an easy task.

The family unit does not stop being a small company in which there are income, expenses, medium and long-term investments, structural needs and, of course, a program of objectives.

To analyze the keys to good housekeeping, this congress gathers more than 300 people at a precursor meeting in Spain.

A national event that the food company has organized in collaboration with the Murcia Federation of Associations of Housewives, Consumers and Users (ThaderConsumo) and the Valencian Federation TYRIUS, under the slogan 'Fundamental pillar of family economy' brings together in the Region of Murcia to the confederated collectives and representatives of each Spanish province, integrated into the federation.

The initiative seeks to recognize the work carried out daily by those in charge of managing family needs.

Thus, it is debated, for example, on how the new family structures have changed.

In addition to highlighting the co-responsibility of the household, making it clear that, although domestic management continues to fall predominantly on women, there are more and more men responsible for household chores.

With this forum, ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN seeks to help define the strengths of healthy nutrition thanks to the selection of the best products for family consumption.

All this knowing that it is essential to move healthy eating habits to the new generations.

ElPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN will also promote, on the occasion of this congress, a contest on social networks #YoCocinoenCasa, which will reward the photograph of the best dish made with the company's products, which will be in force from October 1 to November 30.

ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN tries to highlight a job that many consider the most important: take care of our family.

Not surprisingly, the family origin of the company, along with other of its strengths such as innovation, traceability or food safety, has shaped the DNA of a brand that is already present in eight out of ten Spanish households and, which exports its products to more than 80 countries.

The development of the program includes various activities that mix the professional and the cultural with initiatives that will make the Region known, as well as the feeding styles and their nutritional characteristics.

The meeting has the participation of experts and expert speakers in nutrition who are offering their knowledge and experiences in the habits of food at home, and the most healthy ways in relation to the preparation of food.

The inauguration of the congress that took place this morning at the facilities of ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN was attended by the president of ThaderConsumo, Juana Pérez;

the delegate of the Government, Diego Conesa;

the Health Minister, Manuel Villegas and the company's president, Tomás Fuertes.

Then, some papers have been held under the theme 'Culinary Techniques', by Sergio Fernández, chef, television presenter and writer.

After this intervention, they have addressed the 'New challenges and consumer demands', in a round table with the veterinarian Blas Marsilla, the doctor and nutritionist Valentín Cadenas, and the marketing director of ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN, Julián González, in addition to the director of Agrarian Funds and Rural Development, Carmen Sandoval.

Today's day will conclude with a gastronomic experience workshop with the interventions of the chef Sergio Fernández, the president of Hostemur, Jesús Jiménez, and the enologist of Bodegas Luzón, Vicente Micó.

During the afternoon the facilities of the Meat Processing Center of the food firm will be visited and will end with a cultural route through the city of Murcia.

Tomorrow, September 28, the Congress will be held at Agalia Hotel de Murcia, and will begin with the presentation 'False Myths in Food', by the expert in Nutrition and Human Dietetics, María del Mar López, from the I + area D of ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN.

The activities will continue with a course of cutting and use of ham, taught by the ham masters of this protein-based food processing company, José Manuel Fernández and Roberto Arques.

This event, pioneer in our country, will end with the closing ceremony in charge of the general director of ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN, Rafael Fuertes, and the counselor of Employment, Universities, Business and the Environment, Javier Celdrán.
