Cavalli Foundation carried out the "Early Riding" program (26/10/2018)

Between the months of May and June of 2018, the Cavalli Foundation carried out - in collaboration with the Foundation for the Promotion of Equestrian Sports - the program known as "Early Riding".

In this project, 8 children enrolled in the CDIAT (Early Childhood Development Center for Children) enjoyed a scholarship with which they benefited from 6 free Equine Therapy sessions.

The objectives of "Early Riding" have been: to improve the quality of life of the users enrolled in the Early Childhood Development Center of Alhama de Murcia and to promote that Equine Therapy is included in the therapeutic services offered by this center.

During the sessions held, the beneficiaries showed improvement in several aspects such as the development of emotions, the development of social skills, the focus of attention, balance and mobility.

These advances have been the reason to relaunch the program "Early Riding" in which (along with the contribution of the Department of Social Services of Alhama de Murcia) will be granted to children enrolled in CDIAT scholarships of 200 sessions of Equine Therapy.

The therapeutic and technical team of the Cavalli Foundation and the City Council of Alhama de Murcia have organized an informative talk that will take place next Tuesday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Casa de la Cultura, located opposite the City Hall of Alhama de Murcia.

In the presentation will explain to the families of children targeted in this institution what are the steps to follow to apply for scholarships and the benefits that therapy with horses can provide users.
