The Workers Foundation of ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN is the main sponsor of the X Villa Alhama and Women's Popular Triathlon, which will be held on June 22 at the Bajo Guadalentín sports facilities in the town.
The test has the singularity that the distances of the three disciplines, swimming, cycling and running are accessible to the whole family, since they can participate children, federated women or not, and non-federated men.
This year, as a novelty, the regional aquathlon championship will be added, in which federated men and women will be able to participate, thus excluding federated men from the triathlon competition.
It also aims to promote the sport to those who have ever been attracted to this sport.
The president of the Foundation of Workers of ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN, José María Florido, has highlighted, at the presentation ceremony of the competition, that "we collaborate with this activity by fully adapting to the business philosophy of ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN and its employees, based on the effort, the overcoming and the clean game, as much in the practice of the sport as in the life ".
The organizers of the event, the Trialhama club, with the support of the Triathlon Federation of the Region of Murcia and several collaborators aim to cover the 380 available places.
