Grupo Fuertes and the University of Murcia have selected the scholarship students to do summer internships and their Final Degree Projects and Master in the holding company, ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN.
These actions are included in the annual program of the Chair of Food Safety and Sustainability of the business holding company.
With this motive, an act of delivery of credentials has been developed for the chosen students, who have been accompanied by their tutors, the chair director, Gaspar Ros, and the Coordinator of the Vice-Rector, María José Portillo Navarro.
The group has visited the facilities of the food company at its headquarters in Alhama de Murcia and they have been received by the company's president, Tomás Fuertes, who has influenced the importance of research in the food sector.
During the event, the Talent and Ideas sessions, included in the Chair's annual program, have been made public and aimed at identifying young researchers with projects on food based on meat protein and working in multidisciplinary teams.

The Chair of Food Safety and Sustainability of Grupo Fuertes aims at innovation, training and dissemination in the field of veterinary and food sciences.
Among its activities will be the provision of scholarships in favor of students of the Veterinary Faculty, the realization of university practices and the promotion of research contracts.
