The Improvement Groups are teams of excellence that detect opportunities for improvement
ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN has celebrated the 35th anniversary of its Improvement Groups, an internal initiative that aims to improve the quality of the most significant processes of the productive chain, through concrete proposals of its workers that increase competitiveness and efficiency in the company.
On this occasion, a total of 319 people participated, who presented 196 ideas for improvement, ranging from increasing the productivity of the organization's internal logistics, to increasing the purification efficiency of the plant, all with the final goal of efficiency gains, reduce costs and better meet the needs and expectations of customers and consumers.
During the act of presentation of results, the top managers of the company valued this body of participation as a fundamental tool to consolidate the leadership of the company, present in eight of every ten Spanish homes, and encouraged them to continue advancing in the vocation of continuous improvement.
The Improvement Groups, for which the company has been betting for more than three decades, are a clear example of the business philosophy of ELPOZO ALIMENTACIÓN, aimed at motivating and giving value to the initiatives of its human team to increase the efficiency of the company.
The company, which this year turns 65 since its founding, has a workforce that exceeds 5,000 people to which we must add the 23,000 indirect jobs generated by its business activity.
Its annual turnover exceeds 1,100 million annually.
