The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia and the Local Police of Alhama de Murcia have developed a joint investigation aimed at dismantling a point of sale of drugs in the municipality of Alhama de Murcia, which has resulted in the arrest of a young man as alleged author of drug trafficking crimes and robbery with force.
In the registry carried out at home, 87 doses of cocaine, 70 doses of heroin, 120 benzodiazepine tablets, marijuana, a compressed air gun, a stir gun and 8,820 euros have been seized.
A video console and a tablet from the theft have also been recovered.
The investigation began, thanks to citizen collaboration, when the Civil Guard had knowledge of the possible sale of drugs at a home in Alhama de Murcia.
In view of the social alarm generated in the area, agents of the Benemérita and the Local Police of Alhama established a series of discrete surveillance devices, with the aim of identifying the person who was in front of a possible point of retail drug sale.
After several months of investigation, the researchers verified the continuous transfer of people to the house, drug addicts who came in generally at dusk, which had generated some insecurity and concern in the neighbors.
Recently and once the necessary evidence has been obtained, the result of the investigation has been brought to the attention of the judicial authority, who has granted the corresponding entry and registration order in the property.

The JOLO operation, developed jointly by the Local Police of Alhama de Murcia and the Civil Guard, has culminated in the arrest of a 24-year-old boy of Moroccan nationality who is credited with the alleged authorship of the traffic offenses of drug and robbery with force in housing.
The arrested, the drug, the money and the recovered effects, as well as the proceedings taken have been made available to the Court of Instruction of Totana (Murcia), who has decreed the entry into provisional detention of the detainee.
