Dear Mr. Pedro Sanchez (President of the Government):

I am Isabel Cava, councilor of the GM of Citizens in Alhama de Murcia.

I am writing this letter to express the urgent need for the State, which you are representing in office, to take charge of the under-financing that the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia has for the change of autonomous financing model that its predecessor the Mr. Zapatero amended in 2009.

This amount is estimated until 2018 at € 8,000,000, and that money has been allocated to assume improper powers by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, which had been imposed by the State, having to borrow for it.

It is not fair that the residents of Alhama de Murcia assume that economic burden, raising taxes indiscriminately to all Alhameños by their Socialist disciples who rule in an absolute majority in this town, worth 1.5 million euros through:

• IBI (Contribution) …………………………………………….

+ 16%

• ICIO (Construction Tax) ……………… + 23%

• IAE (Tax on Economic Activities) …….

+ 40%

Likewise, I urge you to proceed as soon as possible to write a new Autonomous Financing Law, which we have been waiting for years and that suffocates several Autonomous Communities as well as their municipalities, as we have to take charge of improper powers.

That is why I request a prompt meeting, with the objective of addressing this issue, since it depends on it, that taxes can be lowered to Alhameño citizens.
