This morning the mayor, Mariola Guevara, and the president of the Musical Group of Alhama de Murcia, Javier García, have signed a new collaboration agreement between the Consistory and the group choir.
The City Council allocates an economic endowment of 2,500 euros to this entity for the year 2019, an amount destined to the financing of musical activities developed by the choir.
The agreement, an initiative of the Department of Culture and Heritage, aims to cooperate in improving and sustaining the cultural life of the municipality, as well as promoting classical music activities in attention to the general interest, reaching maximum dissemination and promoting among the Neighbors interest in choral music.
The choir of the Musical Group of Alhama de Murcia is committed through the agreement to carry out a series of activities of a cultural nature to disseminate and promote choral music, participating in concerts of sacred choral music, meetings of choirs from various backgrounds, as well as the realization of the Christmas concert with meetings of children's choirs.
