CECOPAL decides to maintain prevention measures in Alhama (06/08/2020)

The Municipal Operational Coordination Center (CECOPAL) has met for the third consecutive week to take stock of the contagion data in our municipality and in neighboring towns. Although the official data of Alhama are not worrisome at this time, with a natural increase in cases, the maintenance by the Autonomous Community of phase 1 of the de-escalation in Totana, where a significant number of infections continues to be recorded, has led to this body, it has made the decision to keep another week, starting from 00:00 on this Saturday (early morning from Friday to Saturday), the following restrictions:Closure of the children's play areas of the municipality and its districts, as well as the Skate Park in Nueva Espuña, the bio-healthy games and the petanque courts.Closure of free access sports courts located in the urban area and districts.Closing of sports facilities to the public: Guadalentín sports complex, including the summer pool, and the Praíco sports center.Suspension of the summer cinema.Closing of the test room.Closing of the social centers of the districts.Limitation of the weekly market exclusively to food products.The two covered pavilions and the heated pool are still closed.The City Council, the Social Services Center and the rest of the municipal offices and services remain open as before, complying with the capacity, safety and hygiene regulations.These measures have been adopted under a prevention criterion, since the contagion data has been increasing in recent days in the Region, reaching 724 according to the latest report published by the Ministry of Health this Wednesday. The specific rules applicable to other sectors of activity, such as hospitality, commerce, places of worship, celebrations, wakes, etc.
