Alhama de Murcia presents the XXXIV edition of "Los Mayos" (14/04/2016)

One more year, its 21,000 inhabitants return to recreate scenes from everyday life and parodies current issues in cloth and cloth puppets, while they dressed as harlequins or "corremayos".

It was declared Regional Tourist Interest in 1990.

During the days 7 and 8 May, the streets of Alhama de Murcia backfilled color to live the Feast of the Mayos, one of the most unique traditions of spring in the region who turns 34 editions.

During that weekend visitors can also enjoy other activities such as competition Cruces de Mayo, the National Folk Festival, Custom Motorcycle Concentration, Folk Festival, the Meeting of crews or the traditional Medieval Market.
