Youth Councillor, Alicia Martinez, presented this morning the reopening of the municipal toy library.
He did Palao accompanied by Ana and Monica Martinez, responsible for the company Ecoespuña, which manages from now this space.
Councillor stressed that the "toy library serves in Alhama long and users ranging from the smallest to twelve. It is a space where used toys, in addition to make friends and come with their own friends for the afternoons".
The intention of the Department is to reopen this space to promote coexistence of the smallest.
Times are as follows:
Monday to Friday from 18.00 to 21.00
Saturdays from 10.00 to 14.00 hours
As a novelty, it will also open on Saturdays in order to perform different activities such as hiking, theater, literature, music, crafts, DIY, recycling, etc.
in which you can have visits from people related to these areas.
Councillor stressed that the City will make a gradual improvement of equipment and infrastructure to make this space more attractive.
Access to the toy library is free.
You will only require a phone number of family contact for any problems that may arise with the child, such as allergies.
All children under 6 years must be accompanied by a parent.
Ecoespuña has more than 20 years in Alhama and has participated in various projects of leisure time, as the Social Revitalization Workshop and summer school.
Their leaders have highlighted this new stage as a "personal enrichment of children with proposals for activities where areas such as musical expression and body work, culture traditions of Alhama -rescatando or area- as well as a meeting point and activities.
