We have summoned the media to try to clarify the issue of putting up posters on June 10th at 00:00 hours on the occasion of the general elections to be held next June 26.
It has drawn criticism, even from our own members, not understanding why the Popular Party did not have stuck posters, paper, as usual, more so when the other party has done so.
It has been said even spent pasting posters and we have not bothered to paste or a poster.
For this reason, we believe it is necessary to make a number of points:
They are treated in a general election, and therefore locally, are very limited in decision-making.
Therefore, this time the National Campaign Committee, said that for reasons of austerity, would replace the traditional putting up posters for a ceremony to inaugurate the campaign at the same time, as a "symbol" of the punch, showing the logo PLEASE in our tablets and smartphones, using the advantages offered by new technologies.
The Popular Party of Alhama seems a good measure,
First, because there was a verbal agreement between all political groups that when the case had to repeat the elections would be a "light" campaign, seeking the lowest possible cost to citizens;
remember that elections are an expense of more than 160 million euros between the government, Posts, Telecommunications and Logistics.
Therefore, if the other parties have breached that agreement, campaigning as usual, the one to question his deadbeat is the attitude, not to those who have fulfilled their commitment.
Second, after elections held six months ago, in which candidates repeat, it is not essential papered the town with posters with the face of the candidates, when they are already so well known.
We will not vote or more people or less because we put posters.
Voters must assess proposed policies every game not the image of their candidates.
IN CONCLUSION: We tell our voters and those who are not, do not expect great pageantry of the Popular Party, this time, because there will be.
