The City of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Association of Hoteliers, has organized the III Ruta de la Tapa de Alhama de Murcia, to be held from February 25 to March 6.
The mayor of Tourism, Maria Elena Marín, was released this morning all the relevant information and announced that this year as a novelty, the path has included several cocktail bars and ice cream shops in the locality.
Marína added that on this route include a total of 21 bars and restaurants with two caps each at price of 2 € (cover + drink) and 5 establishments where you can sample various cocktails as well as € 2.
The councilman noted that to participate in the route must be made with a booklet available photo of each one of the tapas and cocktails and address of each of the participants, a map will be located each and a primer which must be stamped at each location and where is measured from 0 to 5 each cover or cocktail, of which the top winner will be drawn 2011 and winning cocktail.
These brochures can be picked up at participating merchants and at the Tourist Office (Plaza de la Constitution).
Participants in this year's Ruta de la Tapa is The Vest, The Corner, Moriana, Marquitos, Lyper, House Martin, Lolo II, Toni Bar, The Abbey, San Francisco, Panoche, Los Bartolos, Coquus, The Fishbowl The Drum, Black and White, The Casino, The Plaza, Viriato, Bar Alhama, Grandma's Casserole, 5 Senses Ice Cream, Route Bar and La Cava.
The awards are:
1 st Prize: YES seal 12 CAPS + 2 COCKTAILS ON THE TRAIL PARTICIPANTS ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE FOR VALUE OF € 1000 OFFERED BY ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE TRAIL OF THE CAP.
2 nd Prize: YES seal 12 CAPS + 1 COCKTAIL PARTICIPANT IN THE ROUTE TO ENTER THE DRAW FOR A NIGHT OF HOTEL IN A SELECTION OF HOTELS IN 3 AND 4 STARS IN SPAIN FOR TWO PERSONS OFFERED BY TRAVEL ALDEMUR.
3 rd Prize: iF seal 10 CAPS + 2 COCKTAILS ON THE TRAIL PARTICIPANTS ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, TV ONE MADE BY THE HEAD SLDE BODEGA LA HOYA IN LORCA.
4 th Prize: iF seal 8 COCKTAILS TAPAS + 2 PARTICIPANTS IN THE ROUTE TO ENTER THE DRAWING A LOT OF WINES OF THE REGION OF MURCIA BODEGA HOSTED BY-SWORDS Belchí Alhama de Murcia.
The prize draw will take place on March 21, 2011 at 11:00 am at City Hall and the participants will necessarily be older.
Also, as noted by the mayor, coupons submitted by participants must be properly sealed, filled and shall be deposited in the ballot box located at each participating establishment.
Furthermore, this coupon can not be in poor condition (torn, stamps ,...) and must have deleted at least 10 different labels in order to compete.
In addition, the foundation states that the winner of each lot shall meet the call made at the time of the draw, otherwise proceed to get another coupon.
