Alhama Local Police has new technologies thanks to Plan E (25/03/2011)

The government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, and the mayor of Alhama de Murcia, José Espadas Lopez, attended the celebration, the I Alhama Technology Days in which it has submitted a project to modernize the computer Local police in the District, which has been equipped with a new telecommunications system, special facilities and management software, a project funded by the Government of Spain through E. This project has a cost of 105,000 euros.

The Plan E reduces the phone bill of the council, saves energy and lowers the maintenance of computer equipment

The Government delegate pointed out that in addition to the project presented this morning, the council also receives funding from Plan E for two projects of technological improvements.

Specifically, the installation of the interconnection network of community centers (335,000 euros) which allows the optical fiber interconnect 14 centers, with more than 16 miles of wiring, and interconnection with other 6 centers Wireles wireless radio links, and new network cabling and equipment for City Hall (120,000 euros) on the new network infrastructure installed that integrate IP voice, data and video and are a decisive step towards the e-local government.
