Cerdá encourages the agricultural sector to develop works in research for products "of higher quality and easier to grow" (09/10/2011)

The head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, today urged the regional agricultural research to develop and "implement the results of knowledge to the farm" for products of "higher quality, easier to produce and closer to consumer demands. "

The Minister was speaking at the closing ceremony of the 44th edition of the exhibition 'table grapes Lower Guadalentín agricultural products', which was accompanied by the mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Fernando Alfonso Ceron.

The exhibition, in which the Department works through the Instituto Murciano Research and Agricultural Development and Food (IMID), houses a large exhibition with over 300 varieties of fruits and vegetables in the area.
