The City Council of Alhama de Murcia, as every year, from the Department of Culture and Heritage, has scheduled visits to the Children and Youth Room of the Library, with the aim of encouraging and promoting the use of books and the library.
All this, from the program to promote reading "Know the Library", which has taken place for several years.
About 500 children from the Virgen del Rosario College, Ricardo Codorniu, Prince of Spain and Espuña have visited the Children's Room of the Library and in the coming weeks, have agreed the school visit San Cristóbal Díaz-Ginés and the School Fuertes Child, which will this year over 700 pupils aged between 2 and 5 years.
The activity is that the librarian shows the different and various types of books, has several stories that are looking after themselves with the help of their teachers and, finally, are given a collective license class.
With this card participating teachers, which track of borrowed books from the class, parents or relatives who accompany children to the library to get books changed every week or as long as his / her teacher deems necessary.
