In February of last year, around the Day of La Candelaria, the City Council of Alhama de Murcia I organized the Feast of La Matanza.
Councillor for Festivities, Maria Jose Ceron, accompanied by Francisco Rubio, who devised the celebration of this feast and Diego Andreo, Matachín, presented this morning at a press conference the Feast of the Massacre II to be held from 3 to 5 February.
The council began the presentation by showing their willingness to make the Fiesta de la Matanza celebration become a benchmark in our region.

Activities will begin on Friday 3 February at 20.00 hours in the House of Culture with the opening of a photographic exhibition of images of the first edition of the festival.
