The Municipality of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Women, has reached an agreement with the drug therapeutic community Prosauces - The Fleet, who runs the Center for Rehabilitation of Alcoholics fleet, to open an information service alcoholism in the basement of the Senior Center.
Lola Canovas, councilor of Women and Imma Cobos, representative of the association, gave the openness of information point where clients and family can get all the necessary information on possible cases of drug addicts.
Also, the mayor stressed that also just Rehabilitation Center of The Fleet is the largest number of women among its users across the region.
As pointed out by the mayor, the opening of this information is to facilitate, especially women, access to professionals and existing tools in order to overcome drug addiction cases.
Meanwhile, Imma Cobos specified the importance of enabling this area in the town center offering access much easier and direct to users and, consequently, facilitating the work of specialists.
The information point is open on Tuesdays from 9.30 to 13.30 hours in the basement of the Senior Center located in the park of La Cubana.
This point of information is intended to give all the information needed both to people who suffer from drug addiction as family, friends or relatives who think that someone around you suffers and does not know what to do.
