The Municipality of Alhama, through the Department of Culture and Heritage and, in collaboration with the Neighborhood Association Gebas, has organized a painting contest outside which must relate to the hamlet of Gebas, its people, its streets and their environment.
Councillor for Arts and Culture, Carmen Maria Rodriguez, accompanied by the headman of Gebas, Bernardo Garcia Diego and by Andreo, the Association of Residents of the hamlet, have announced the call for a painting contest outside on the hamlet.
The works must be submitted until July 10 at the Department of Culture and Heritage, located in the Old Town Square Cultural Center, from Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 14.30 and is not limited the number of works by artist.
The awards to those eligible have been donated by various organizations and are as follows: 1. - Neighborhood Association Gebas, 450 €, 2 nd. - Restaurante El Mirador, 350 €, 3 º. - Distributions Belchí Swords € 250; 4 °. - Hospedería Under Cejo (2 nights x 2 people, depending on availability), 5 °. - Bed Maria Cristina (weekend x 4 people, depending on availability) 6 °. - Casa Rural Las Palmeras (weekend x 4 people, depending on availability).
The awards ceremony will take place during the opening ceremony of the Exhibition of Painting and Photography, on Friday August 10th at 20:30 pm in the Community Center Gebas.
