ANSE conducts training and information to farmers in Alhama de Murcia (20/06/2012)

The Southeastern Association of Naturalists teach two courses during the month of June for improving the training of farmers in techniques for sustainable agriculture.

In addition, state in the same location the traveling information campaign on the integration of biodiversity on farms.

During the month of June, farmers will be trained in Alhama de Murcia through two theoretical and practical courses.

The first, focusing on clean agriculture, aims to provide attendees with the knowledge needed to improve farming techniques and improve their farms, encouraging saving, environmental protection and health of workers and consumers.

The second course will learn about the benefits that biodiversity can bring to the crops as well as some more environmentally friendly practices that preserve and promote it allows, which in turn will feed into improvements in production.

In both cases we integrate environmental criteria of the future CAP, which are mandatory for achieving a significant share of aid to agriculture.

Furthermore, from day 19 until June 29 you can visit the information campaign will be exposed itinerant in the House of Culture of the town.

This is an exhibition with 9 panels with various information on sustainable agriculture and environmentally, as well as the significant benefits this can bring to farmers, have already visited several locations in the Region of Murcia.

As a complementary activity, it is proposed advisory clean agriculture, natural enemies and beneficial integration of biodiversity in various farms in the region.

These activities are within the project "Farmers and Biodiversity, natural allies," held anse with the aim of integrating biodiversity on farms.

This project involves the management and recovery of biodiversity occurs naturally on farms as a resource usable by farmers in compliance with Community policies and improving the competitiveness of production.

Throughout the development of this project is to achieve a change in perception of the nature surrounding farms, making it a resource for farmers, through the acquisition of knowledge needed to conserve this biodiversity and benefit from it.

To do this, over a year have been developing various activities aimed at environmental improvement of farms through the integration of biodiversity through the dissemination, training and advice of farm workers in different municipalities Murcia and Alicante southern

The "Farmers and Biodiversity Conservation allies" is part of the program Empleaverde Biodiversity Foundation, funded by the European Social Fund.

Also during this month of June, with the collaboration of the Municipality of Alhama de Murcia, which has assisted in the management of premises where activities will take place.

All activities in this project are free actions financed by the ESF and are primarily active workers in small and medium enterprises or autonomous agricultural.
