Report on the development of driver education program of the academic year 2011-2012 (01/08/2012)

We accompany the 2 monitors driver education, local police of the City of Alhama de Murcia, who have carried out activities throughout the course.

These activities began on October 4, 2011 and concluded on May 17, 2012.

They have been included all primary schools (Espuña, Antonio Machado, Ginés San Cristobal Diaz, Ricardo Codorniu, Prince of Spain and Lady of the Rosary) Those of the districts (the Cañarico, The Coast and watercress) and Secondary Education Centers (Instituto Miguel Valle de Leyva and Hernandez)

A total of 79 participating classrooms of students from pre 4/5 years to 6 of Primary and Secondary Education 19 classrooms, making a total of 1,813 primary pupils and 463 secondary students (about 2,300 students)

Furthermore, as close to the school year organized a Road Safety Education Local Competition, where students attended 6 of Primary Schools all, the contest was launched in February to May, the final was in June and ended with the delivery of important awards that were acquired with the cooperation of some local companies and establishments.

Also continued the Day for Disabled Persons Day Centre "Salinas", which began last year and involving 13 students.

This year they have 18 people, offering these students improved their autonomy in the various movements.

We must also mention the "Road Safety Education Workshop" has been done during the month of July and has sought to continue the educational work throughout the year has been taught in the Park Traffic to school children.

COMPARATIVE BREAKDOWN ASSISTANCE FOR DRIVER EDUCATION CLASSES SCHOOLS OF CHILD AND PRIMARY.

-Antonio Machado: this course in addition to participating students and 3 ° children already participated last year, students from 4, 5 and 6 primary.

Thus the total has risen from 40 students last year of nearly 140 of this course.

-Sierra Espuña: rates remain more or less the same as the previous year.

This involved a total of almost 450 students over the 6 Infant and Primary courses.

-Prince of Spain: The past year did not participate in these workshops and the driver education course if it has a total of 200 students.

-Ginés San Cristobal Diaz: This year more students have participated in this event and also children 6 years of Primary and the total has been about 440 students compared to the previous year were 390.

-Ricardo Codorniu: Like the previous school, most students have participated in the previous year, of children and 6 primary courses and the total was about 275 students compared to the previous year were 240.

-Our Lady of the Rosary: ​​same as above, has also promoted the number of students from 200 to 250.

2011-2012 school year: 1,813 students

COMPARATIVE BREAKDOWN ASSISTANCE DRIVER EDUCATION CLASSES FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS.

In the 2 centers to local Secondary School stands a greater participation of Valle de Leyva in the previous year and in this one.

-Valle de Leyva: were about 330 students during this past them.

-Miguel Hernandez: last year nearly 200, and it just over 100.

- School year 2010-2011: 538 students

- School year 2011-2012: 463 students

Finally say that the valuation of these workshops is very positive road safety education.

We received congratulations from various centers of the town and that encourages us to continue this important work for our younger population.

So from this Department we will continue to provide these activities in the next year because we feel it is appropriate and necessary for the integral formation of children and youth.
