The town of Alhama de Murcia has special service 061.
The Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios this morning visited the new headquarters of 061 of the region of Murcia has been installed in the town of Alhama de Murcia.
Received by the local mayor, Fernando Alfonso Morales Ceron and by the mayor of Health, Ana Fernandez and almost all members of the Municipal Corporation, has found the perfect operation of the new unit of 061 Emergency Management located Social Center in the former El Barrio (old school unit) on the Avenida Antonio Fuertes.
Palacios explained that it was necessary to introduce three more of 061 points in our region so that all citizens of this special unit were available less than 15 minutes away.
Acts studies, possible one of those places was the town of Alhama de Murcia, and immediate response given by the Mayor, the achievement has been possible.
With this, the alhameños have in their own town, in addition to the services already provided by the Health Center, with an emergency department to meet immediate emergency specialist interhospital and in the same scene.

The 061 service was launched on 1 October.
