No Rabies and Microchip, this is the new Vaccination Campaign 2013 (24/06/2013)

The city of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Health, and in collaboration with VETERSALUD TUCÁN Veterinary Clinic, Veterinary Clinic Veterinary Center PUPPIES and Alhama, have launched vaccination campaign against rabies 2013, which begins 1 July to August 31, and is aimed at all citizens with pets, dog owners specifically because it is mandatory and recommended for cats over 6 months.

This year, we have established a special price for vaccination, which is 20 euros and also also for microchipping, which is 30 euros, binding in the CARM.

The Councillor for Health, Ana Fernández has stated that the main objectives of this campaign are to increase preventive measures, diagnose this or other possible diseases and to obtain a census of animals and remember compulsory vaccination and microchipping.

As reminded owners of potentially dangerous animals must have the appropriate municipal license, and urged those not having to ask permission, and that the penalty is from 2,400 to 15,000 euros.
