Alhama Industrial Park grows with the addition of nine companies in the first half of 2013 (05/08/2013)

Industrial Park 'Industrialhama', a company owned by the Ministry of Industry, Enterprise and Innovation, through the Instituto de Fomento (Info), continues to grow with the addition of nine companies in the first half of 2013, amounting to 120 the total number of companies located in the park.

The new additions are companies from the Region of Murcia, Cordoba, Barcelona and China, and various service sectors such as agricultural, industrial and environmental.

In total, its implementation has involved 5,760 rental square meters of warehouses.

Two of the additions, entrepreneurial projects in the ICT sector and hospitality, have been installed in the nursery CIDE located in the park.

As part of the Incubator Network Region, CIDE is a building that offers a range of specialized services for entrepreneurs, as well as sales and rentals of offices, meeting rooms, auditorium and classrooms.

According to the director of Info, Juan Hernandez, "Industrialhama, after its major improvements in infrastructure, is an industrial park strategically located. Has direct access to the highway and a natural setting that puts you close to both the port of Cartagena as the capital" .

During the first half of 2013, the industrial park has had the reopening of the Avenue of Europe by the City, one of the main entrances to facilitate entry to the users as well as the development of the first phase of the new partial plan , which involves the opening of a road to the motorway structuring RM2, significant improvement of access.

Alhama, first 'Entrepreneurial City' of the Region of Murcia

The Ministry of Industry, Enterprise and Innovation, through the Info, signed in April 2012 an agreement with the city of Alhama to foster entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneur Municipality is a pioneering initiative in the region of Murcia which allows municipalities to actively participate in the business development of the municipality.

Currently there are 12 'Enterprising Towns' of the Region of Murcia: Alhama de Murcia, Cehegín, Molina de Segura, Yecla, Totana, Cartagena, Cieza, Murcia, Lorquí, Puerto Lumbreras, Eagles and Abarán.
