The Civil Guard dismantled a gang dedicated to burglary of Alhama de Murcia (04/12/2013)

So far seven Meritorious clarified crimes

Have recovered stolen jewelery and objects worth more than 2,000 euros, which have been returned to their owners

The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed a research, part of the 'Plan against burglary', which culminated in the dismantling of a criminal group and the arrest of three members on suspicion of robbery strongly in housing Alhama de Murcia.

During the course of the investigation, prevention specialist officers in public safety have recovered stolen jewelry and household objects, over 2,000 euros and, after being brought to justice, have been returned to their rightful owners.

The Meritorious began last summer investigation into committing several burglaries in Alhama de Murcia, who had generated alarm among the population.

The first inquiries were directed to collect all possible clues on how to commit the theft, the stolen objects and their alleged perpetrators.

The investigation led officers to a group of persons of Spanish nationality who allegedly was behind the authorship of the theft and subsequent illegal trade of stolen objects.

Conducted surveillance on the stolen homes

Its criminal purpose were households in the town of Alhama de Murcia.

Before acting conducting surveillance to make sure not to be surprised by their owners or neighbors.

After confirming that the theft was viable, accessed the property using force against doors or windows, and once inside subtracted valuables, mostly jewelry.

Both jewelry and other objects of value were stolen in specialized local market for the sale of gold from different localities of the Region and shops selling second hand respectively.

Once obtained all necessary evidence and identified the three members of the band a search that culminated with its location, arrest and subsequent remand in custody was established.

The three arrested are Spaniards aged 34 to 39, and meet the initials MAS, JJH, and JJBN, which, after careful analysis of the information obtained during the investigation, are credited the alleged authorship of seven counts of burglary in Alhama de Murcia.

The Civil Guard has recovered much of the stolen jewelry and objects worth over 2,000 euros, and have been returned to their rightful owners.

Those arrested, recovered objects and the proceedings have been brought before the Magistrate's Court in Totana (Murcia).
