Members Members of the Committee on Industry, Labor, Commerce and Tourism of the Regional Assembly of Murcia this morning visited the facilities of "El Pozo Food SA", the first producer in the region, where they were received by Thomas Strong, President Fuertes Group it belongs, and senior executives of the company.
The parliamentary delegation was chaired this time by the president of the Regional Assembly, Francisco Vidal Celdran, and integrated by the spokespersons of the three parliamentary groups
Members have toured the facilities and were impressed by the commitment to innovation and new technologies of this leader in the national meat market, generating 3,600 direct jobs and 20,000 indirect jobs.
Parliamentarians have also reviewed the services that the company provides its workers, such as day care, two clinics, a restaurant, a relaxing lounge, a multipurpose room and a gym.
The visit is part of the journey that the Committee on Industry, Labor, Commerce and Tourism is conducting by leading companies in the region to know their status.
Repsol, Navantia, Port Authority, or Licor 43 Spanish Salinera are some of the institutions visited by the regional parliament in recent months.
