Last Thursday was held at the request of the Municipal Socialist Group SPECIAL full, due to the long and deep educational need in our Parish, about the construction of a new public Secondary School, to replace the existing IES " Valle de Leiva ".
Requests constantly claimed by the educational community as the municipal group, as can not be otherwise, always committed to a quality public education.
The city had a single point agenda, "ENSURE IMMEDIATE PRESUPUPESTARIA MANNING AND EXECUTION OF WORKS NEW VALLEY LEIVA IES".
With this motion, the GMS aims to obtain a greater commitment by the CCAA and that his promises remain embodied and detailed in a budget where the exact amount allocated to our institute indicated.
So far only had oral statements of the President of CARM, Alberto Garre, in his first official visit to Alhama de Murcia recently, which said that "among the activities planned for 2015 a phase funded by ERDF for the Valley is found Leiva ".

In the draft ERDF Operational Programme 2014-2020 of the Region of Murcia, is reflected to 15.31 million euros will be allocated to infrastructure investments Elementary and Secondary Education for the entire region.
