This week has been presented the traditional "Easter Concert" to be held next Wednesday, March 18 at 20:30 am at the Church of St. Lazarus.
A concert that will be offered by the musical group of Alhama de Murcia that this year will share the stage with the singer Curro Piñana, professor at the Conservatory of Music of Murcia in the specialties of flamenco guitar and flamenco.
"The singer dedicated arrows to all fraternities and sororities of Alhama de Murcia", explained in the presentation of the concert the mayor of Culture and Heritage, Carmen Maria Rodriguez.
The mayor also stressed that in this performance so emotional also accompany the guitarist Manuel León, guitar teacher of the Municipal School of Music.
The concert program is composed of different processional marches chosen by the musical group, as explained by the director of the Association, José Antonio Ayala.
And a dozen arrows, some of them composed especially for the occasion by Curro Piñana, which will be devoted to the holders of the fraternities and sororities of Alhama.
Curro Piñana
Stage name of Francisco Javier Piñana Conesa.
Born in Cartagena in 1974, learning begins with the direct teachings of his grandfather, Anotnio Piñana on various styles and mining complexes.
Curro has been rewarded with numerous awards qualities: First Melon de Oro prize at the XII National Lo Ferro Festival in 1992;
Aladroque first Gold award in the Third National Song Competition for Cartageneras in 1993;
First prize in the XXXVI Fandangos Miners National Festival of Cante de las Minas de La Union in 1996;
First prize Cartageneras and Mining and Mining Lamp in the XXXVIII National Festival of Cante de las Minas de La Union in 1998.
It has garnered an extensive discography among which include: the album "From the human and the Divine."
He has also participated in the compilation "With Duende" with shrimp, among others.
He is currently director of the Flemish Hall at the University San Pablo CEU.
Degree in Psychology and Master in Music Research at the University of Murcia, currently teaches courses as a singer and Professor of History, Aesthetics and Sociology of Flamenco at the Conservatory of Music of Murcia and professor of Cante, in the Chair of Flamenco People's University of Cartagena.
