IU has been working in Alhama, its institutions and attending all the elections that have been convened since in our country got the development of democracy many years.

Before a new call for local and regional elections last August IU-Greens Alhama began work on developing its proposed program through an open and participatory process, coordinated by professors from the Carlos III University.

The project is being developed through a participatory workshop in phases, which began with the development of a diagnosis of the economic and social situation of Alhama.

All this based on the results of more than 200 surveys provided by you to different groups and people in our town, to prepare a first draft of the program.

On February 28, following discussions with various groups in our town, the convening of a constituent assembly of the Civic Platform MejoraAlhama, creating different working groups and a tight schedule for the formation of a nomination was raised to the upcoming municipal elections in the form of Grouping of Voters.

In developing the roadmap established in the constitution of the platform, March 8 approved the ethical commitment of the Association of Voters, the regulation of primary and presentation of candidates.

The deadline ended on March 15 without, according to agreed standards, has completed the necessary number of candidates to attend the Alhama municipal elections next May 24.

In IU-Greens have always participated in all the citizen platforms formed locally who persecute the general interests of alhameños and improving our town, both for the defense of public services, the environment, against urban speculation, support workers and unemployed, etc.

DNA is part of IU-Green public participation, public advocacy and work together to achieve common goals.

Therefore, we integrate and drive the MejoraAlhama Platform, which we continue to work in a firm commitment to participation and involvement of citizens in municipal politics.

In IU-Greens Alhama still working on completing the electoral program, through collective development groups, as well as presenting a plural application, consisting of attached, supporters and people who share the principles and values ​​that have always defended IU.
