The hall of the City of Alhama has welcomed this morning the presentation of the project to remodel the firehouse Alhama Totana work that, once out to tender is expected to be completed by the summer of 2016.

The mayor of Alhama de Murcia, Fernando Alfonso Morales Ceron, along the manager of the Consortium for Fire Fighting, Mariano Sanchez and the mayor of Public Safety, Angela Sanchez, presented this morning to the media and professionals themselves Alhama Fire Station Totana, the park renovation project drawn up by the architect Rafaelle Pérez.

The first alhameño mayor recalled that the park opened in 1992, is located in an important enclave due to the high risk of fires in our main natural space during the summer months.

In March 2014, one year ago, and after the fire of that exposed them to park their demands first alhameño mayor, the mayor visited the facility itself, accompanied by the head of the consortium, the Councillor for Public Safety and the architect.

On that first visit he remembered undertake the remodeling of the park, as provided for in that time, but meeting the needs expressed by professionals who use the building daily.

This has meant that an initial budget of between 80,000 and 100,000 euros, as noted in charge of the consortium, has passed a budget of over 340,000 euros with the expansion demanded by the firefighters themselves according to the actual needs of the public space.

Also, Mariano Sánchez announced the forecast for the next term of the expansion of a firefighter per shift, which will mean the sum of five new professionals to firehouse Alhama-Totana.

Meanwhile, Rafaello Perez described the foundations of the new project that bears the same aesthetic of the current work, but technically and structurally has a different job that reinforces the structure, ensures and modernized.

In addition, this modification respects the current regulations establishing the park as first responders in disaster.

That is, that in catastrophe must stand by what has a very strong structure.
