Alhama Mayor met yesterday with directors of FRUVECO SA, a company of frozen vegetables that will be installed in the industrial area of ​​the town.
The first phase, corresponding to a freezing chamber and loading dock, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2016. At that time it will be the largest chamber of Spain, with the intention of it becoming the largest in Europe the coming years, with more than 240,000 pallets full capacity.
The meeting analyzed technical aspects of roads, part of the Polygon and affection plan with the plans of the municipality as well as the focus of the second phase of the project promoters.
The mayor, Diego Conesa, noted the importance of the industrial area of ​​Alhama development as a strategic element for the future, highlighting the vision of municipal politicians who 30 years ago bet on it.
He also expressed the support of the City, with its municipal officers to head towards those companies that pose a serious project and also those who have a career behind as collateral.
The City Council is committed, but with greater tax benefits, to provide greater legal certainty, administrative flexibility, transparency, equal treatment and rigor as fundamental elements to attract investors.
And, over time, these companies can go slowly creating jobs, keeping in mind the difficulty.
