The new Valle de Leiva, central theme of the meeting with the Minister of Education (04/09/2015)

The mayor of Alhama, Diego Conesa, and the Councillor for Education, Mariola Guevara, this morning held a meeting with the Minister of Education, Maria Isabel Sanchez-Mora.

The Mayor and the Councillor have exposed the demand from the educational community to institute change to a new location.

The Minister has indicated that this can be a delay because it would have to modify the project and generate new costs.

Diego Conesa has beaten him that the City is prepared to assist in the costs of change and also for the geotechnical study of the new land.

For this we have requested information on time, timing and amount.

Mariola Guevara stated that the educational community values ​​the new location and assume that delay.

The Minister has promised to study the request, which will inform the municipal government.

The closure of a classroom at school Gines Diaz has been one of the issues discussed.
