The Industrial Park Alhama grows with four new large companies that will create 150 jobs (22/10/2015)

Alhama Industrial Park will grow next year by installing four large food businesses that will generate an investment of over 120 million and create about 150 jobs.

With the arrival of these new companies, which are planning to start work for installation throughout 2016, the occupation of the industrial complex will reach 140 companies, and the number of jobs could reach 1,700.

The director of the Instituto de Fomento (Info) and new vice president of the corporation IndustrialAlhama SA, Javier Celdrán, stressed the "role of mediator info to play in helping companies find the right place to settle."

Thus, the regional agency, within its commitment to re-industrialization of the industrial fabric, offers help and advice for businesses to locate in the most appropriate to their needs, both infrastructure and transport, storage and communications space.

On the advice of society IndustrialAlhama, held this morning, business operations for the installation of these companies, which have led to revenues of more than four million euros for the company, an amount that analyzed recovery consolidates IndustrialAlhama and guarantee its future viability.

In this regard, the Director of Information said that "the high volume and scale of these operations are a reflection of the period of economic growth and development through the region" and hoped that help for the Industrial Park Alhama continue its expansion.

"IndustrialAlhama has become a benchmark in the food industry, and the arrival of four large companies will act as a magnet for other companies in the sector," said Javier Celdrán.

Throughout 2015, the Alhama Industrial Park has joined six other companies belonging to sectors as diverse as beverage distribution, financial services, agriculture, road construction or services.

Among the 140 companies currently operating in the industrial estates include those dedicated to the footwear industry and its derivatives, an industry with a long tradition in Alhama, as well as for logistics, chemical, construction or recycling activities.

IndustrialAlhama, the company that manages and promotes this business park, has the info and the City of Alhama de Murcia as majority partners.

"The implication of the session is still essential for the expansion and consolidation of Alhama Industrial Park as an engine of industrial development of the municipality and the region," concluded Celdrán.
