PP: "Work on the new Valle de Leiva will go to tender in the coming weeks" (24/11/2015)

For the PP is good to see the proposed new Valle de Leiva finished and the commitment of the General Management Centres immediate tendering of the works.

For the Popular Party that was the conclusion of the meeting on Thursday attended the DGC Maria Dolores Valcárcel, Mayor D. Diego Conesa, the Councillor for Education, Mariola Guevara, Ana Fernandez and Maribel Carrasco as representatives of the Party Popular IU Juan Romero, a representative of FAPA and other representative of the Platform for a Fair Location and architects, both as the Autonomous Region which has developed the project and who is also a neighbor of Alhama.

At the meeting the Director General expressed his willingness to tweak or improve facilities at the needs that arise and that had not been foreseen in the draft, so much so that the architect is working for that improvement as the words of the same Director This work has to last over time and must have maximum guarantees.

According to Director works begin immediately because the budget is available for execution, it will be done in two consecutive phases.

Bidding for the second phase could be made during the construction of the first, ensuring that in two years at most students could have the center.

If there was a change of location, the budgetary allocation to the first phase of construction earmarked for other centers in the region, as there are other urgent needs that demand significant investments.

The project in which the Autonomous Community has probably invested more than 100,000 € for this project to another location would not thus have to make a new one, along with previous studies also lost ground, etc.

As important fact would highlight the Autonomous Region has invested in the construction of the project, previous studies in this bidding process and a significant sum of money and all that would be lost if we choose another location.

All these data are very important to contemplate.

From the Popular Party we feel that there are many gaps in the data that shows the government team, in addition to not explained to the people in a clear and concise way and we run the risk that the new Valle de Leiva not it is built.
