The Department of Environment of the City of Alhama de Murcia, once again, starts the program SENDALHAMA (19/01/2016)

For this 2016 edition has prepared an extensive program in which the participants will tour our natural areas and others in the region of Murcia.

As in previous years, will open the registration period in batches of two routes.

The first will be on Wednesday January 20, corresponding to the route Canyons Gebas 1 "A glorious journey to hell" on January 31 (Sunday) and Espuña 1 "Flowering almond tree in Umbria" the February 20 (Saturday).

Registrations can be made at the Tourist Office from 9.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00 h.

Monday through Friday and Saturday from 10.00 to 13.00.

The amount, symbolic, for every elderly hiker 10 years to enroll is 3 euros.

This edition is limited number of places to 75 hikers, with the aim of improving the safety of participants and the quality of the activity.

The organization accepts the registration of other 3 more people for every one that go to the tourist office, as long as they carry the full details of who will register: name, surname, ID number, age, telephone number and email address .

It restricted to using the Tourist Office with the exact amount for each route and person registering, as it will be at that time when it is collected.

Routes in this edition are:

January 31: Ravines of Gebas.

A glorious trip to Hell.

February 20: Espuña 1. Flowering almond tree in Umbria.

March 13: CIEZA in bloom.

At the edge of the Segura.

April 24: Espuña 2. Pedro Lopez, the envy of the summits.

June 5: Saladares Guadalentín.

Hidden nature.

September 18: Espuña Espuña 3. River, the river had water.

October 23: CARRASCOY.

The mountain of a face.

November 13: CABO Tiñoso.

A strip of land in the middle of the sea.

- In general, the routes that we propose not harbor great complexity, but require a certain habit of walking trails and dirt roads, sometimes with important outstanding.

- Among the material to wear is required to be provided with water (1 liter per person), suitable for hiking shoes, hat, raincoat and some warm clothes.

Advisable cane, binoculars and camera and a light snack.

- Minors must be accompanied by parents or guardians.

- Shifts to the point of beginning and back from the end of each route are by bus.

- The Council may suspend or modify the routes in case of rain or other force majeure, after announcing a new date for its completion.

- Each route will have a guide who knows the area and its peculiarities, and a support team of guides.

All activities will be supported by volunteers from Civil Protection, as usual.
