Councillor for Housing, Lali Carrillo, met Monday with managers Alhama farms in order to provide information on grant aid for the rehabilitation, energy efficiency and accessibility in homes.
These grants cover 70% of the value of the work and are subsidized by the Autonomous Community (35%) and state funds the Ministry of Development (35%).
They are aimed at collective residential buildings completed before 1981, except those with major structural damage or intended to rent for 10 years from the grant of aid.
The beneficiaries are mainly communities of owners.
A total may obtain aid up 14,850 euros per household.
For further works 30% of the grant comes forward;
minor works for a single payment is made for the full amount of the grant, giving reasons thereof.
The application deadline is 29 February.
The works should be finished on September 30 and justified as at 31 October.
The Department of Housing of the City of Alhama de Murcia is available to the parties concerned to facilitate all information and streamline administrative formalities.
