The Governing Council has approved a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Water and the city of Alhama de Murcia for the upgrading of service roads located in this municipality.
The investment cost amounts to 1.2 million euros, financed by 50 percent between the Community and the City.
The works affecting roads with a total length of 33.5 km
In order to improve the present conditions of service, both for agricultural machinery and for access to farms and rural households in the zone of action, is expected to improve the widening of the road platform, the grade of the same to allow placement of engineering works required for the disposal of rainwater, and build a surface course of asphalt 5 cm.
thick, for better road maintenance, together with corresponding traffic signaling.
