Thousands of residents gathered on Friday night 3 to participate in the contest Migas Fair, this year for the first time took place in New Espuña urbanization.
The new location was very hospitable to the event where children and adults enjoyed a of the most charismatic of the festivities.
After long deliberation, the jury awarded first prize, with 200 euros and a trophy, Paco Martinez, the second prize of 100 euros and a trophy, went on Dolores Roy Eagle, the third place, with 50 euros and a trophy, went to Rosa Sánchez Biso.
In the contest organized by the city of Alhama through the Department of Celebration, enrolled 1,300 people between the groups that distributed 2,600 kilos of flour, 1,300 sheaves of firewood, about 600 kilos of bacon and sausages, 50 kilos of peppers and 2,000 liters in wine and as many soft drinks.
