The City of Alhama de Murcia, through the Sports Council, has prepared a new draft school sports to promote sports among students with everything that sport is of benefit to children.
Jesus Basauri, Councillor for Sports, presented this morning the initiative saying: "We had to take a quantum leap in school sport and with this project I think we're going to get."
This effort will not only boost the sport but also will spread the practice of various lesser known games.
To this end, the Department of Sports put a monitor in each of the Primary Schools of the township school hours for one hour a week.
For the third cycle is scheduled from 10 November to 15 December, basketball practice, from January to February athletics, also in January and February, indoor soccer, in March and April, handball, hockey in April, May and jockey volleyball , rugby and other possible proposals on specific days.
On the second cycle, Basauri stated that he would organize a league mate, a sport that is very successful among children.
On the first cycle activities will be held on time.
Monitors the Department of Sports also accompany the children in the competitions that take place on Mondays from 16.30 to 19.30 and Saturday from 10.00 to 13.30 h.
