The City of Alhama de Murcia, the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia and the European Social Fund launched a pilot project during the academic year 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 to facilitate the reconciliation of family life and work of working parents who start their working day before the scheduled opening of schools.
Following the success of that Councillor for Education of the City of Alhama, José Miguel Muñoz, presented the morning local service 2009 which reported that last year's schedule was from 7:30 to 9:00 pm
Monday to Friday and this year we are studying the possibility of extending the service during the next academic year 2009/2010.
The service is intended to care for children enrolled in Early Childhood Education Centers and the Primary village between 3 and 12 years and whose parents to show documentary evidence that they are working or receiving job training with schedules that prevent them from carrying their children to school at the usual time.
It may serve a maximum of 15 children per school, which will have a monitor / a charge of carrying out various activities related to hygiene and personal autonomy, education for respect for the environment, free games and led, peace education, etc. .
Parents who are interested in the service for the next academic year 2009/2010 must apply for pre filling an application form which can collect and deliver to the Department of Education located in the Employment and Training Center located at Avenida Ginés Campos, 56 to 31 July 2009.
