A year starts the campaign "Security Grows in 2009-2010", with activities for children in the third cycle of primary education (11/11/2009)

This November starts the campaign "Grow in Security", funded by the Department of Employment and Training, through the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.

Aimed at students in grades 5 and Primary 6, the campaign begins with a series of briefings between the school, ending with the convening of the Fourth Drawing Contest "Security Grows in 2009-2010."

Alhama Mayor met in the morning yesterday with representatives of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, UNCOMUR, school directors and members of APAS local primary school, determined the importance of bringing the world of education and risk prevention.

The mayor stated that the main objective of these activities lies in minding children on the topic of prevention, so that already at an early age appropriate behaviors are generated in a fututo reduce and eliminate risks and incidents of the various areas of life.

According to John Romero, standardize the care for children by eliminating small risks household, school, road or work, including establishing a solid foundation in the day to day, next week provide a result in the reduction of accidents.

With this intention, the City initiated a new phase with outreach activities, information and training on prevention among schoolchildren in a local primary school, to raise awareness and promote prevention culture.

Miguel Prisons, section chief of Training and Safety Institute Prevention and Health, noted that the campaign is, in a fun, instill concepts for children to understand that it is the duty of all to comply with the rules on prevention, while Artistic expression is encouraged.

Also stated that the institute intends to expand this dynamic between parents, creating a talk show for the home, within a schedule for adults.

Sebastian Peñaranda, UNCOMUR president wanted to highlight the excellent cooperation provided both from the local authority as the institute as well as to thank the members and heads of schools APAS treatment provided and the welcome given to the project.

At the meeting were present Antonio Diaz, director of Ricardo and Yolanda Gea Codorniu, president of APA Espuña.

The competition rules state that may involve the students in grades 5 and 6 of primary schools in the municipality: the work to be done will be one drawing made with crayons, watercolors, oil paintings, watercolors ... etc., Whose theme will directed to the prevention of risks, both in their school, home or environment.

The delivery time will be until February 28, 2010, in their schools, except the City Different guidelines.

With regard to the jury, will be appointed by the City Council and composed of: representatives of the City Council, heads of schools, teachers and professional plastic risk prevention.

Finally, the awards for the winners consist of objects useful for students: cameras, books and mp4.

The award date will be communicated to schools and awarded well in advance.
