The City of Alhama de Murcia through the Department of Social Policy has organized a course on "Social Skills.
Basic Level "this morning was opened by the mayor of the town, José Espadas along with the councilor in charge of the area, Fina García, Adult School located in the Casa de la Cultura.
This course lasts 200 hours, ending on July 9 and will participate in 12 students.
The course objectives are:
- Provide participants with basic social skills for successful integration and social functionality.
- Facilitate the learning of roles, rules, procedures and tools for personal and group autonomy.
- Increasing the participation, listening and actively sought the development of everyday life.
- Increase the satisfaction of personal needs (hygiene, physical, affective and emotional), family, work and all those who need to satisfy (ideological, spiritual) attracting a critical and constructive.
- Rate mutual respect, understanding and personal growth and group.
The course includes two parts, one for group work, with basic content, listed below, and another individual to work through the tutorials.
Content to work in groups are:
- Personal resources basic life skills: image, patterns of behavior, acceptance of standards, etc.
- Resources for personal development, assertiveness and self-esteem, assertiveness, empathy, self-awareness, anger management, commitments and responsibilities to the group, family and self.
- Techniques of communication: verbal and nonverbal communication, practice active listening, expressing feelings and opinions, attitudes that foster dialogue, vocabulary expansion.
- Planning of daily activity: organization and home economics, health education, work-life balance
family and educational activity.
- Introduction to Computer: Basic computer management, information retrieval and network resources.
- Health Education: Workshop affective-sexual education, promotion of healthy habits.
- Literacy and / or educational support.
- Departures and actual practices.
