The City of Alhama de Murcia, through the Department of Employment and Local Development COAG working with the organization and conduct of the course "Training for Pesticide Phytosanitary treatments, basic level yesterday afternoon, Monday May 10 was opened by the hand of Employment Councilman, Jose Lopez, Center for Training and Employment of the town.
This course will last 30 hours and will be held between 10 and 20 May at 19:00 hours and 22:00 hours on 21 from 9:00 to 14:00 will develop the practice in the Integrated Training Center and Agricultural Experiences Lorca.
This course is for people who perform treatments on their own farm land directly, without using auxiliary and using pesticides or generate gases are not classified as toxic or very toxic.
With the training the aim that students acquire sufficient skill levels in the plant pesticide application that allows you to:
- Making proper use, storage and handling and proper application of plant protection products and their packaging as well as machinery and equipment.
- Health awareness issues as important as prevention of occupational hazards, health and safety or occupational health, as opposed to other productive sectors such as industry and construction where these aspects are much more social relevance.
- Learn about the application of first aid.
- Have information legislation.
