The City of Alhama de Murcia has done this morning, a silent demonstration in front of the consistory as a sign of rejection and condemnation of the assassination of the latest victim of violence, a local resident of St. James Murcia 68 years old.

This, allegedly killed on 11 hours in the hands of her husband, is the first casualty of Murcia, 2010, and 24 women being killed this year in Spain.

The mayor of the town along with several members of the local corporation has shown their unconditional support to victims and their families from domestic violence.
