Within the set of activities performed in the Archaeological Museum of Los Banos, highlights the concerted visits are being carried out and where they develop several workshops led by museum staff and are intended to rapprochement, a didactic manner of Alhama history of children and youth of our town.
This initiative met with great interest by local schools, in the first months of the year, involving more than 270 children from schools Antonio Machado, Virgen del Rosario, Prince of Spain and San Cristobal Diaz-Ginés.
In these tours the students know the history of thermal baths and Roman, Islamic and spa hotel, narrated an educational and fun tailored to their ages.
This experience, in many cases, is one of his first contacts with the history and monuments of its people.
The visits are complemented by workshops, made with simple materials, try to reflect as were the elements of daily life such as the realization of Roman mosaics or tiles that reproduce Islamic archaeological evidence preserved in the museum.
