Maria Luisa Frisa Grace, a native of Barcelona, is the winner of "X Alfonso Martínez Mena Literary Contest" they announced the Jury of the national competition, on Saturday 15th May at the local Town Hall and met in the early morning and after several deliberations, unanimously decided to award the first prize of 3,000 euros, this story was titled "The ravages of love" and presented under the motto "Mayru."
The second prize of 1,500 Euros, was granted the work entitled The window, submitted under the pseudonym Jacaranda, the author is Mireya Keller Huberman, a native of Chile and resides in Buenos Aires (Argentina).

José Belmonte Serrano, Professor of Literature at the University of Murcia, Mrs. Dionisia García Sánchez, writer; D.
Jose Calero Heras, Professor of Literature at Alhama de Murcia, D.

Juan Romero Canovas, Councillor of Culture of the City of Alhama de Murcia.
All jury members recalled with nostalgia for the writer alhameño named the contest, Alfonso Martínez Mena, who died recently, each showing signs of admiration for him.
In addition the jury wanted to claim the high quality of the entries each year is growing.
The prizes for this event which this year has reached its tenth edition will be delivered on Saturday, 29th May at 20.30 in the Meeting Room of City Hall, there will read the winning stories.
