The City of Alhama de Murcia through the Department of the Environment reports that Caja Mediterráneo (CAM), in collaboration with the Department, launches an educational facility called term energy. "
This is an educational, informative and awareness-raising Energy sources, uses and consequences, which aims to promote the efficient use of energy resources and promote the development of the energies that are less harmful environment.
This initiative will be open on days 8, 10 and June 11, 2010, in the Municipal Park "La Cubana", devoting the morning to visit elementary schools in the city guided by instructors and evenings and all June 9, all the general public.
This educational facility, will comprise three thematic areas or spaces:
The first area is called "Learning" is explaining here that energy, its evolution through history and dependence on the current development system is the same.
In the second area, "Experiment", discusses the various sources from which the energy we use.
Explaining the difference between non-renewable or fossil energy and renewable energy.
In addition, this section is experimenting with what works with renewable energy sources.
In the latter area, "I plug in" working with participants what can each of us to participate actively in saving energy and resources, receive information from the actions and attitudes that can be carried out in daily to get it.
All this, with the aim of arousing the interest of visitors and encourage them towards participation and action, using fun activities and play near where raw, experimentation and participation.
