The Teatro Sinfín group has been the winner of the autonomic phase of the Buero Vallejo Awards of the Coca Cola Spain Foundation in its 15th edition with the play 'Mantúa'.
The actors of the group Salvador Silla Molina and Ángela García Manzanares have also received a special mention.
The group will represent the Region of Murcia in the national phase, where a jury composed of personalities from the theater of our country will assess all regional groups in the month of June.
On Saturday, June 23, 2018, the work will premiere at the Teatro Velasco at 9:00 p.m.
The 'Buero' young theater awards are a commitment of the Coca-Cola Foundation to support and disseminate the work that many young theater groups are doing in Spain every year.
"We are committed to the future and convinced that the cultural education of young people is essential to develop their critical spirit and make them better citizens." The theater turns out to be an effective educational tool and transformation for all those who approach it; an empowerment tool for boys and girls, developing their skills of empathy, responsibility and teamwork ", they point out.
Since 2003, and in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, the Coca-Cola Foundation is launching these awards for which more than 78,000 young people have already participated in more than 3,800 theatrical productions.
Each year there are hundreds of boys and girls participating, from families involved in their assemblies, from educational centers, from teachers committed to young culture.
And thousands of spectators are witnesses each year of their theatrical creations, which speak of their interests and concerns, and bring us new stories to learn from.
